Duke Energy has 30 extra crews in town for a limited time. They need our help identifying and reporting trees that might threaten our main powerlines. A tree came down close to the bottom of Fairview Forest Drive and damaged the power lines that provide power to much, if not all, of Fairview Forest. Duke estimates power will be back on by 8:15 PM.
